BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhuanet) -- The Regulations of the Tibet Autonomous Region on Work Safety will come into force on July 1, according to the Tibet Regional Bureau of Work Safety.

The regulations with seven chapters and 61 articles were adopted at the 9th Session of the 9th Standing Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Congress, which was held in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet, from March 25 to 26 .

In line with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Work Safety, the regulations define systems involving examination and assessment, supervision and guarantee, and accident report and settlement, as well as punishment and investigation.

The implementation of the regulations is vital to standardizing enterprise roduction, ensuring safety of people's life and property, and promoting a sound economic development in Tibet, said a leading official of the bureau.
