A 13 person delegation consisting of journalists from some leading Chinese media such as "People's Daily" "China Daily" "China Youth Daily", headed by Mr. Lu Wenxiang, counselor of the press department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, visited Turkey on 19-23 Sep. The journalists interviewed Mr. Cemil Çiçek, the government spokesman and Justice Minister, and Mr. Atalay, state counselor responsible for press affairs and visited Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Directorate General of Press and Information, Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade etc. talking about issues like Sino-Turkey relations, textile trade between the two countries, Chinese tourists visiting Turkey and press cooperation and so on. The delegation also visited Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Hürrıyet and the branch office of COSCO in Istanbul.
